Vendor Application Form: what people fill in.
Nothing is sent — see what happens on submit.
Scenario
New suppliers are checked by compliance before procurement can buy from them, and how much review they need depends on what you are spending and how risky the engagement is. A $2,000 stationery supplier should not sit in the same queue as a $250,000 data processor.
How it works
Vendor onboarding coordinates multiple departments:
- Vendor application captures business details, tax / registration ID, contract value, risk level and banking details
- Compliance review verifies registration, tax ID, insurance and screening, and can reject the vendor outright
- Contract value & risk routing sends the vendor down one of three paths based on what was captured on the application
- Legal & security review adds contract and data-protection scrutiny for vendors over $100k or flagged high risk
- Finance setup verifies banking details, sets payment terms and currency, and issues the vendor account code
- Vendor active: the supplier is approved for purchase orders; rejected vendors end on a recorded rejection
- Procurement intake
- Supplier risk screening
- Contract approvals
- Supplier master data
Vendors under $10k with low or medium risk skip straight to active, so small spot buys are not stuck behind a full review cycle.
