Client Enquiry Form: what people fill in.
Nothing is sent — see what happens on submit.
Scenario
Enquiries arrive through a form on your site. Most tools collect them and stop there; everything lands in one inbox and the $50,000 job waits behind three tyre-kickers. Here the form reads what was filled in and decides who gets it before anyone opens it.
How it works
- Anyone sends an enquiry: name, email, what they need, a budget range and a short brief, on a public link with no account required
- A condition splits on budget: over $20,000 goes straight to the founder, no budget yet gets an automatic reply, everything else goes to the team queue
- One person picks it up: whoever it routed to gets the task and either sends a proposal or closes it out with a reason
- The enquiry ends on Proposal Sent, Not a Fit, or Auto-Replied, with the brief, the decision and the reason all attached
- Agency and studio project enquiries
- High-ticket sales and viewing requests
- Partnership and supplier enquiries
- Quote and estimate requests
Who uses this
Why stepbase
A form builder gets you the enquiry. It does not get you a decision about who owns it. The budget range here is an ordinary form field, so the routing is a rule on the answer rather than a person reading an inbox and forwarding. The $50,000 enquiry is on the founder's desk the second it lands, and the one with no budget behind it never takes anyone's time. Every enquiry ends on a named outcome with the reason attached, so nothing sits open quietly.
Start from the form, the stages, and the routing behind it.
